Driven by a passion for surface & substance, he has developed
aesthetics of self confidence. His core competence is the
determination of simple exclusive solutions for abstract claims –
whether in close collaboration with the client, or as an
unaffiliated author with focus on art & fashion industry.

Willem Stratmann finished his education at Lette Verein Berlin
in 2000. He started to work as an independent typesetter and
typographer for MetaDesign, Wolff Olins and others.
Together with Adrian Nabi he relaunched the Backjumps
Magazine in 2001 - a platform for urban communication and
aesthetics. In 2003 they initiated the exhibition series
»Backjumps – The Live Issue«. A compilation of current
street-art with exclusive installations by artists like Banksy,
Delta, Os Gemeos, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Zevs & Co.
From 2006 to 2008 he worked as creative director for Nowadays – a Berlin based production agency. There he got involved into a wide range of international productions for Diesel, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Mario Testino, S.Oliver, ...
